Pain management in exotic species

Date: Thursday 19 February 2009

Speaker: Polly Taylor

Venue: Evening meeting at the Russell Hotel, 136 Boxley Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 2AE. Please click here to view a map of the Russell Hotel.

Polly qualified and gained her RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesiology at Cambridge before becoming chief of anaesthesia at the Animal Health Trust.  There she gained her PhD and was appointed Lecturer in anaesthesia at Cambridge, progressing to Reader in Anaesthesia in 2001.  She now works as a freelance consultant in veterinary anaesthesia.

As the popularity of exotic pets increases, Polly will present a refresher on analgesia for those species who may present a particular challenge to the first-opinion vet.
