Getting into vet school is a huge achievement – so well done! Now you are there BSAVA knows that you will be facing a number of challenges – including financial ones. So we are delighted to offer all UK vet students Free student membership for the duration of your undergraduate life.

Who can get free BSAVA student membership?
Anyone studying for a primary veterinary degree in the UK or Eire as undergraduate veterinary students are eligible. Please note that student veterinary nurses are not eligible for BSAVA membership.Overseas students are not entitled to free student membership – sorry!

New members
If you wish to become a member of the Association you will need to download a membership application form, complete online and submit. You can then make payment by selecting the correct category of membership and clicking on Buy Now. We will then process your payment and forward you a membership benefits pack and membership card.

Note: Students cannot apply offline. 

How to become a BSAVA Student Member.
When purchasing your Free Student Membership you must register with this website (if you have not done so already) using a valid university email account (the one that ends .ac.uk or ucd.ie).

• A Free copy of the BSAVA Small Animal Formulary in your penultimate year of study
• Free access to the Journal of Small Animal Practice online archives (you will not be sent a hard copy, although these should be available in your library)
